Instruments with Braces?

Yes! You can still play instruments with braces.

For those of you that play woodwind or brass instruments you can still play your instruments but there will be an adjustment period. Woodwind instrument players will adapt more quickly than brass instrument players. For our brass players there have been great suggestions like using wax over top of your braces while playing or using a larger mouthpiece to reduce the pressure of your lips against your instrument.
