Bozek Orthodontics Update March 23 2020
We are emailing you again as things continue to change rapidly and daily. We remain temporarily closed.
For both our Braces patients and Invisalign patients we are making some new recommendations
For two reasons, we are recommending you now only wear your Invisalign trays or elastics halftime (night time). This will improve hand hygiene and also prevent your teeth from moving too far while not being monitored.
We are here to answer your questions by phone Monday to Thursday from 9am to 3pm. If you have an orthodontic emergency, please call the office during our new business hours. There is also emergency information on our website including videos on how to solve minor problems.
If you are experiencing an orthodontic emergency with significant pain outside our business hours, please email us at
firstname.lastname@example.org. Please put the word “EMERGENCY” in the subject line.
Stay safe and we hope to see you soon
Temporary Closure and Emergency Information Updated 19/03/20
On March 14th our licensing body, The Royal College of Dentists advised all dentists and dental specialists to immediately stop providing all non-essential dental care until at least early April. Only emergency dental care can be provided. Emergency dental care is defined by the presence of pain.
Hence, all regular orthodontic visits are cancelled until further notice. This includes all consultations, placing braces, removing braces, regular adjustments, Invisalign appointments and all routine visits. We will call you to reschedule your regular appointment as soon as we know when our office will re-open. Our office will remain open for administration and to field phone calls Monday – Thursday 9am-3pm.
This is a rapidly changing situation. At this time we do not know when we will re-open and are creating a recall list. We will call you as soon as we are able to schedule appointments. We will also continue to send updates via email and social media.
If you are in mild discomfort from a loose bracket or a pokey wire, there are tips on our webpage how to solve these problems with a small piece of wax at home. Go to https://www.bozekorthodontics.com/your-first-visit/emergency-info/
If you are in significant pain, please call the office during our business hours ( Mon-Thurs 9am-3pm). For after hours help please email the office at email@example.com. Please be sure to leave your name and phone number as well as a brief description of the problem and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Please put the word emergency in the subject line. We are here to help but have been ordered by our licensing body to only treat severe pain and trauma not responding to over the counter medication and wax. We apologize for the inconvenience but emergencies do not include broken brackets, retainers or Invisalign problems unless in severe pain.
If you are wearing Invisalign and worried you may run out of trays, we suggest lengthening the number of days before you change your trays. If you completely run out of trays, please wear your last tray a minimum of 12 hours per day (nights only) until we are able to resume seeing patients.
We look forward to seeing you soon…. We promise to do everything we can to get you back on track!
