Our Mission
Our mission is to provide quality complimentary continuing education to the dental hygienists, assistants, receptionists and dentists in the Burlington and Waterdown communities. Our goal is to encourage camaraderie, professional and personal growth through annual evening seminars focused on dentistry as well as general health and well being.
General Information
Meetings will be typically held on Wednesday evenings from 6-9pm providing you with 3 continuing education hours annually. Light refreshments will be provided. Although there is no charge for meetings, you must be a member to attend. Members will receive an electronic invitation for each meeting. The Place You Want to Work
This workshop helps dental teams made up of front Front desk scheduling coordinators and receptionists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, treatment coordinators, office managers, and dentists understand their current team culture, including the importance of relationships, growth mindset, and positivity. Participants identify gaps between how they work now and how they want to work, by defining shared behaviours, values, and norms. The focus is on practical steps to align culture within each dental team to improve collaboration and patient care.
Tawnya Johnston is an experienced provincial presenter with expertise in work-life balance and team dynamics. She understands the challenges of today’s work environments and is passionate about helping others thrive.
Jason Johnston is a nationally respected facilitator and presenter with expertise in designing and delivering transformation relationship-focused professional learning, facilitation, and team building.
